Miranda Meow Made

Aloha! I’m Miranda, the crazy-cat-lady-crafter. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, then moved to Hawaii to attend college. I graduated from the University of Hawaii with my Bachelors of Education in Elementary and Special education. I enjoyed teaching Special Ed in Hawaii for over 6 years. During that time I met my husband and we had our first child. My husband is active duty in the army, so the inevitable time came when we had to leave Hawaii. When we came to Washington state I decided to stay home with our son and take a break from teaching. We then had a daughter and life as a mom got a bit more hectic. I’ve always loved crafting and making things for people, and that amped up during my time at home, and with the purchase of a Cricut and Glowforge. One of my biggest joys is teaching paint nights, but since the beginning of the pandemic I made the decision to shift towards virtual tutorials and making craft kits that people can enjoy in their own homes.

When I decided to make this a real “side hustle,” I knew my name had to do with cats, and have a lot of letter ‘M’s. You see, we are a family of ‘M’s...Mike (husband), Miles (son), Melody (daughter), Moby (dog), Mika/Morris/Mazie (cats).
