Welcome to the Fox Island Museum!
There are more than 3000 artifacts on display in Dioramas, Showcases, and free standing exhibits. Among them is a display describing the life of former Governor Dr. Dixy Lee Ray, a Mosquito Fleet display, Indian artifacts, rotating exhibits, a reference room, farm room, Book Nook, and Museum Store.
Due to the ongoing construction at the Fox Island Fire Station all MAJOR EVENT PARKING will be on 9th Avenue and/or Kamus. One side of the street only. Please be considerate of our neighbors – do not park in front of driveways or mailboxes.
Museum Open on Saturdays & Sundays 1-4 PM
The museum will be closed for Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12th and also on Sunday, May 26th to prepare for the Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast.

Jeff Feagin Annual Memorial Plant Sale at the Museum
Saturday, May 18 11-2pmLess than three weeks left before the annual Fox Island Sand & Soil Garden Club Plant Sale on Saturday, May 18, 2024, here at the Fox Island Museum, from 11:00am to 2:00pm. You’ll find bearded iris, evergreen hardy geraniums, black-eyed Susan/ gold Rudbeckia, alliums, coppery Cappuccino, Liatris, Lithodora, Monarda, herbs, and more at low prices. And yard art! Parking is limited due to the construction at the fire station, so bring a cart. Cash or check only.
- Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast
All you can eat pancakes with juice and coffee. Adults $5, kids $4, under 2 FREE! Seating in the museum and the barn. Rain or shine. Come and join us for this traditional get-together.
- Memorial Day Ceremony
Memorial Day Ceremony at the Fox Island Cemetery
Please join us for a ceremony for the deceased War Veterans of Fox Island and their supporters who have honored themselves and our country in defense of its freedom. Flag raising and salute by the Boy Scouts, placing of the wreath, Invocation, Cootiette Prayer, reading of the names, singing of America the Beautiful, playing of Taps.
