This DT has the absolute worst customer service. I have been here many times, but my last experience was awful. Yes, the lines were long, but in my last trip the cashier was unloading all of his personal problems on the customer in front of me. That particular customer was empathetic to a point, but it was clear that the cashier was far more in need of a therapist than a job paying minimum wage. Then it was my turn. He started telling me his personal life problems. I am not a licensed therapist, so I kind of nodded at the right points. He rung me up, clearly hating the process. He asked if I wanted a bag. I said yes, pointing out that I like to reuse the bags for small trash cans in my house. He then said "I hate it when people say that." That is by far some of the worst customer service of all time. Guess what, homie. Don't work in retail with that incredibly terrible attitude. Never going back.

The cashier was lazy, and rude. I asked that my bottles of soda be separated into two bags because I have to walk and his lazy butt said " they're already bagged". I only had 2 soda's. He was hella rude about it and that's like the laziest person I've ever met. If you hate your job that bad don't work there!!! Worse experience yet.

Do yourself a favor and go to any other Dollar Tree and that's including other counties. This one is always messy, has one cashier (like today) and always full. Idk why I keep coming here! Glutton for punishment I guess. I've been waiting in line for 15 minutes, there are 2 lines and I kid you not--all the way to the back of the store. Where's the manager? Hire some people who will work! I'll volunteer for FREE to get out of here. Come on folks, let's do better!

It was a Saturday night on December 17,2022 at 08:55 pm. The store closes at 09:00 pm, oh good I'm at the door and just need to grab some food and drink real quick. An employee is at the door and through closed doors says they are closed. Yet they close at 09:00, the employee states there is customers in the store and we would not be able to get everyone out by nine.
Customers Service is out the window, if a customer gets to the store before closing then they should get in. As any store business that cares about their customers would agree.
At closing time doors are locked and the renaming customers are told that it is closing time and need to finish their shopping and come to the register to checkout. If it takes you another 10-15 minutes to finalize sales and clear the store, then so be it.
Bar a emergency if a store houses are 10a-9p, then that is how long the doors should be unlocked.
I could go on about customer service, not seeeing the point with this store.

First time at this location, store clean and lots of stock. Did not find exactly what I was looking for but did find some items to buy. At checkout the cashier seemed annoyed at me, I paid cash and was not interacting with the card terminal. She asked me if I wanted a receipt and she glared at me and hit the terminal to indicate no receipt. I had forgotten about how their system works. I did not mean to make it harder for her, I paid with cash so it did not dawn on me to push any buttons on the keypad. Sorry ma'am nothing personal. Everything else went well other than being an annoying customer at the end to the cashier.

To the young gentleman cashier. You engaged with all the other customers when ringing them up. When it was time to ring up the items I was purchasing you did not acknowledge me. Not even letting me know the total of my purchase. I pushed yes on the key pad for a reciept just to see if you'd acknowledge me and you didn't. Out of respect for you, I looked at you and said thank you so much I hope you have a wonderful night, politely. You didn't acknowledge what I said however started talking to the gal next in line. I walked out in disbelief of how disrespectful you were to someone you showed you compassion and respect..

What a great store! Very well stocked with some of the best variety I've ever seen for a Dollar Tree. The story was tidy and well kept. Staff was super helpful and very kind. I heard them numerous times personally assisting customers and providing store information.
We were greeted upon entering by an employee at the register. His greeting was jovial and personalized. He thanked my husband for his service and said their store loved serving our service members. We ended up at his register and met Montez. He was so polite and exuded customer service. Jada the cashier they had working today was beyond rude as well as disrespectful and had no customer service. They had 2 lines open. Jade working the 2nd line. I was in the first line.
I saw Jada's line was moving faster so I went to hers. When I was next she put up her This Register is Closed sign. So I walked back to line 1 where I originally started. That cashier had someone buying a lot of items. So waiting a little more, having a women and then a man still in front of me in line. I see and hear Jada the cashier tell the man in front of me to come to her register and that she'll check him out. Leaving the women who has been waiting the longest to get cashed out in line, as well as myself. I don't know what Jadas problem was or why she didn't like me or the other women who had also been waiting just as long in line. You don't get to pick and choose who you help and cash out Jada. Prolly my favorite DT here in Tacoma, they seem to have more selections than any other DT in Tacoma. I just wished they would pick up and organized the shelves more. They are constant things on the floor. Maybe it's just me but I hate going to the store and everything is messy. Nonetheless I'll definitely be going here for some organization baskets and diy home decor :)

I The first thing that stood out was that I was greeted. I had to pause for a sec and think if the employee was taking to me because I've never been greeted at a dollar store before! there wasn't anything that stood out compared to other stores but but it was clean, staff was friendly and I had a short wait in line and found what I needed.
