Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (option for 4 10-hour days available)

Job Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Equipment Operator and General Laborer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is not only experienced in driving non-CDL trucks, particularly with manual (stick shift) transmissions but also skilled in operating heavy equipment such as excavators attached to trailers. The successful candidate will be physically fit, able to perform manual labor tasks such as digging with shovels, and comfortable working with tools like chainsaws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving a wood chip truck with chipper trailer.
- Chipper operator
- Tree service grounds man - assisting with tree removal, maintaining ropes
- Direct excavator with grade rod
- Hand digging around utilities
- Guiding heavy equipment into position
- Assist with demolition of buildings
- Assist with construction of retaining walls, lawn installation, driveways
- Load heavy machinery on trucks and tie down.
- Maintenance - property & trees
- Safely operate non-CDL trucks with stick shift transmission, transporting equipment such as excavators on trailers to various job sites.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment, including but not limited to excavators and chainsaws, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Perform physical labor tasks, such as digging holes by shovel, as required by the job.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and vehicles to ensure they are in safe, working order.
- Collaborate with the team to complete projects efficiently and effectively, maintaining high standards of work and professionalism.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating non-CDL trucks with manual transmissions and heavy equipment such as excavators.
- Familiarity with general labor tasks and physically capable of performing duties such as lifting, digging, and operating a chainsaw.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and knowledge of safe operation practices.
- Excellent work ethic, reliable, and punctual with a positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
- Good morals and values, aligning with Bob's Property Solutions' ethos and culture.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
