Tacoma Ocean Fest 2024 invites you to immerse yourself in a unique festival that merges the joy of art, the intrigue of science, and the love of water activities into a day of educational fun and adventure. Set against the backdrop of the scenic Foss Waterway Seaport, this festival offers a perfect blend of entertainment and education, all centered around the theme of ocean conservation.

Join community-led waterfront clean-ups to take direct action in preserving the beauty of our marine environments.

A fantastic festival full of shimmering art, stunning circus, dance, music, speakers, science and more! Over 2,500 people came to celebrate with 97 artists, learning from 25 eco-booths, adding hundreds of droplets to the Youth Story Project, eating yummy food and connecting to our ocean and each other. Woohoo!!

Moreover, the event promises an array of performances from local artists, showcasing the vibrant culture of Tacoma while celebrating the ocean's influence on our lives. Whether you're a science enthusiast eager to learn more about marine biology or an art aficionado appreciative of ocean-inspired artworks, Tacoma Ocean Fest 2024 has an offering for you.

Our festival and most of its activities happen on traditional lands of the Puyallup people, who live here and speak the Lushootseed language. We lift our hands to them and honor their elders and their continued protection of the Salish Sea.
